The Beauty of the Unexpected
In early August our team travelled to Portugal to capture the opening chapter of a new brand journey with DAVIDOFF. Inspired by the spirit of founder Zino DAVIDOFF, we set out to discover the beauty of the unexpected and to translate that ethos into a contemporary visual language.
Our collaboration focuses on a refreshed brand narrative that respects heritage and embraces modernity. From location scouting on the Atlantic coast to intimate portraits of craft, Episode 1 focuses on the individual’s drive to travel — and on the simple act of taking a journal along to document every discovery. Notes, sketches, and fragments become the thread through textures, people, and places that shape DAVIDOFF today.
The campaign evolves across film, photography, and editorial storytelling with a social-first approach. We developed multiple asset formats — from behind-the-scenes moments and short-form interviews to cinemagraphs and vertical edits — structured into a year-long storytelling calendar.
On set, three integrated teams worked in parallel, each with a specialty: aerial/drone sequences, product still lifes and tactile close-ups, and a unit embedded with talent for human-scale scenes and journal entries.
